This is the NVIDIA 3.05.00.10 reference bios for TNT2-cards with
a Chrontel tv-encoder, but I patched the subvendor and subsystem ID so the
flashed card will still be recognized as an ASUS V3800 card
(SubVendorID=0x1043, SubSystemID=0x0200). This is required to use the Asus
Live video-capture (Video-in) and control panel extensions. I also patched the bios to choose PAL-BGHI as default TV-encoding instead of the American NTSC TV system. |

The compression function is not implemented in these codecs, so they can only be used for playing and not for encoding (compressing). If you own an Asus card and have installed the standard software, DO NOT INSTALL these codecs on top of the original ones: you will loose the ability to encode video with ASV.
